Your cultural tour begins in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City for its unique colorful buildings. Upon arrival at the Jaipur airport or railway station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Once settled, you will begin your exploration of Jaipur with a visit to the City Palace. This grand complex is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and houses museums displaying royal costumes, artifacts, and weapons. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the 18th century and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
No trip to Jaipur is complete without visiting the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), a stunning five-story structure with tiny windows on its façade, designed for the royal women to watch the street festivals unobstructed.
In the evening, explore Jaipur’s vibrant bazaars, where you can shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry. After a full day of exploring, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, head out to explore the majestic Amer Fort located on the outskirts of Jaipur. Situated on a hilltop, the Amer Fort is a remarkable example of Rajput architecture, with its grand courtyard, beautiful palaces, and intricate mirror work in the Sheesh Mahal. You can climb the fort by jeep or elephant, both of which offer a royal experience.
After touring the Amer Fort, visit the Jaigarh Fort, known for housing the world's largest wheeled cannon, and the Nahargarh Fort, which offers panoramic views of the city below. On your way back, stop at the Jal Mahal, a picturesque palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake.
In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at a local restaurant, which includes folk music and dance performances. Stay overnight in Jaipur.
On the third day, depart for Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City as blue-coloured houses dominate the old city area. It takes about six hours to drive to Jodhpur, which offers beautiful views of the Rajasthan countryside.
Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, which stands on a rocky hill above the city. The fort is a treasure trove of history and architecture, with well-preserved palaces, courtyards, and museums displaying royal artifacts.
Next, visit Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble mausoleum built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The mausoleum is surrounded by tranquil gardens, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.
In the evening, you can explore Jodhpur's bustling bazaars, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts, textiles, and spices. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, depart for Udaipur, often called the Venice of the East or the City of Lakes. It takes about five hours to drive to Udaipur. Udaipur is famous for its stunning lakes, palaces, and romantic ambiance.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, begin your exploration of Udaipur with a visit to the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The palace overlooks Lake Pichola and offers a breathtaking view of the city. Inside, you’ll find museums displaying royal memorabilia and beautiful courtyards, terraces, and gardens.
Next, visit the Jagdish Mandir, an intricately carved Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is a classic example of Indo-Aryan architecture.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, where you can admire beautiful views of the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. The boat ride is especially magical at sunset, with golden light reflecting off the water and surrounding palaces.
