CHENNAI
On arrival in Chennai, you will be met by our English-speaking representative who will take you to your chosen hotel in an air-conditioned car. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay in Chennai.
CHENNAI – MAHABALIPURAM – PONDICHERRY
Early morning breakfast at hotel before leaving with your driver to explore the temples of Mahabalipuram, including the Shore Temple, PanchaRathas and Tiger’s Cave, as well as Mahabalipuram Beach. On completion of sightseeing, continue to Pondicherry and on arrival, check into hotel for overnight stay.
PONDICHERRY
After breakfast, you will have the chance to explore the former French colony of Pondicherry in your air-conditioned car and will also visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville. Overnight stay Pondicherry.
PONDICHERRY – TANJORE – CHETTINAD
Breakfast at hotel before leaving for Chettinad with a stop en route to see the impressive sights of Tanjore, including the Brihadeeswar Temple, Thanjavur Royal Palace and Siva Ganga Garden. Later you will depart for Chettinad and on arrival, check in to your hotel for overnight stay.
CHETTINAD
After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of the city and visit Chettiar Palace, Athmanathaswamy Temple and Chettinad Museum. Overnight stay Chettinad.
CHETTINAD – MADURAI
Breakfast at the hotel before leaving for Madurai. On arrival, check in at hotel and rest of day at leisure. Overnight stay Madurai
MADURAI – PERIYAR
After breakfast visit Madurai’s impressive Meenakshi Temple and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. On completion of sightseeing, depart for Periyar and on arrival, check in to hotel for overnight stay.
PERIYAR
After breakfast, leave for a full-day’s sightseeing in Periyar National Park, where you will see elephants and many other animals, as well as birds. Also popular is the boat rafting on Periyar Lake. Overnight stay Periyar.
PERIYAR – KUMARAKOM
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Kumarakom. On arrival check into your hotel and lateryou will visit Kumarakom Beach, Vembanad Lake and Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls., Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
KUMARAKOM
Depart hotel after breakfast and your driver will take you to the boarding point for your houseboat – the beginning of a peaceful backwater journey, where life stands still. All meals will be served onboard and you will have the chance to relax as you cruise. Overnight on houseboat.
KUMARAKOM – COCHIN
After breakfast on your houseboat, your driver will be waiting to drive you to Cochin. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend rest of day at leisure. Overnight Cochin
COCHIN
After breakfast you will visit Mattancherry Palace, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church and the Indo-Portuguese Museum – all part of Cochin’s rich history as a trading port. In the evening, you have to the opportunity to visit the Kathakali Center to enjoy traditional local dance. Overnight stay Cochin.
COCHIN AND DEPARTURE
After breakfast you will leave for Cochin to catch your flight to your next destination.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
